Our Story
The Mac Miller Memoir was created in 2018 with the intention of being a safe space for fans to connect. What began as our idea of a tribute page has blossomed into an incredibly passionate community from every corner of the globe.
The space we’ve created is one where you can find personal anecdotes and fan stories, connect with like-minded people from all over the world who share the same love for music, share a laugh or maybe a tear. The best part is, you are never alone.
We created the annual "Celebration of Mac" events in Pittsburgh, which have grown to become a staple for many in the community. These gatherings are more than just events; they are heartfelt tributes that brings in fans from all over the world. We celebrate Malcolm’s incredibly life and legacy with an immersive experience including music, art, and a sense of unity that is simply unmatched. Seeing fans from around the world come together is a beautiful and inspiring experience and we’re both grateful and honored to have the privilege of creating them.
Most importantly, The Mac Miller Memoir has always held a simple purpose. This is entirely for the fans, by fans – we will forever be apart of the Machead family.

MEET THE Founders
CODY LEE
Cody was introduced to Mac Miller’s music early on in high school. Born and raised in Montréal, Canada, the hip-hop culture has always been a large part of his upbringing. Cody has an extensive background in entertainment and the digital media space, dating back to his early-day successes on YouTube from 2007.
He later expanded into the music scene by producing EDM and working as a DJ, before ultimately focusing on hip-hop production. A seasoned veteran in digital marketing, networking, brand relations, and social media management, Cody brings a wealth of expertise to every project he undertakes.
FAVORITE MAC RECORD:
”Good Evening” off of K.I.D.S. The nostalgia that comes from the sampled Lloyd vocal will always bring me back to a younger Cody in high school.
FAVORITE MAC MILLER MEMORY:
Skipping school with friends to download Mac’s new mixtapes as soon as they dropped. The good ol’ days.
MARC-ANDRE LAUZON
Marc is a seasoned digital marketer with over half a decade of experience specializing in social media management. Marc's journey into the field began during high school when he discovered Mac Miller's music. Since then, Marc has been to numerous of his shows, even traveled all the way to California to see him live.
On a more personal note, Marc has been playing drums since the age of 12 and has a deep love for discovering new music. He also enjoys collecting vinyls in his spare time. At home, he shares his space with two beloved cats, Merlin and Tessa, who bring joy to his daily life.
FAVORITE MAC RECORD:
”Clarity” off of Macadelic. It helped me get through a lot. Reminiscing back on the release of the song, It helped me realize that problems today won’t be as bad tomorrow.
FAVORITE MAC MILLER MEMORY:
Meeting Mac Miller at Camp Flog Gnaw in Los Angeles and just having a conversation about life for about two minutes. Those are two minutes I will cherish for the rest of my entire life.
